Even more tools of the trade

Another thing I made in my earliest days of sewing. I'm still totally in love with it and couldn't switch to a more refined one.. :) My sewing holster belt! I felt it deserved a post of its own.

It has pockets for pens, tailors chalk, tape measure, paper scissors, seam ripper and the large holster for my shears. The loop goes around my thigh so that my shears stay in place while I'm kneeling or drawing patterns on the floor :) Along with my wrist pin cushion, all my most important tools are always with me! Best time (and patience) saver ever! It's really easy to make, too.
