This site is my journal, where I will try to share my path to becomming a better sewer and craftswoman, learning as I go. Hopefully I can inspire someone to give it a try, or learn something new! I learn everything the hard way, it seems, so all the better if someone else can profit from my (sometimes less fortunate) experiments and bleeding finger tips!

About Me
My name is Karin. I live in Stockholm, Sweden, with my wonderful boyfriend and two "helpful" cats.
Sewing and creating is my passion and addiction alike. This page is a way to find new inspiration and ideas, and to perhaps kickstart someone else's addiction!
I'm on a constant lookout for new inspiration, possibilities and ideas, and I keep finding beautiful and usable materials in the most unexpected places. I love using recycled or upcycled materials whenever I can. I've always had a creative eye, seeing potential function and beauty in discarded old garments and items, but not knowing HOW to bring out that potential. Sewing has become my chance to seize those possibilities and make use of them!
To avoid bankruptcy due to splurging in fabrics way too often, and to be able to see the interior of my apartment again, I run two shops on Etsy. Etsy is a community for handmade, craft supplies and vintage items. I love Etsy and the wonderful diversity you find there! I've joined a team with talented artisans of all trades, Helpful Relevancy Team. Our members create and sell all thinkable kinds of things and together we help each other improve and grow.
